New Releases with Beautiful Full-Spread Images

I’ve re-released both Turning Tongue Twisters and The Adventures of Snuggle Bunny and Pumpkin Britches with stunning full-spread images. What a difference those beautiful visuals make! I almost didn’t update when I saw the cost, but the books were so much better that I made the investment.

I’m sorry the prices are higher now. Those gorgeous images are worth it. Don’t worry, though - both books remain available online for free at dreamwriterariarose.com for quite some time. I love making stories free for a while, and until their next trilogy, it’s free here.

The Universe and Its Deletions

The original Snuggle Bunny story was written many years ago, and people told me it was wonderful. However, the universe has a habit of erasing my work. Yes, deleting things - it’s become quite the pattern!

I hired a professional page setter for both books, specifically requesting two-page spreads. They delivered nice books, but not the two-page spreads I envisioned. I also received a blank internal cover instead of the colorful one I had for the tongue twisters, and the author’s name didn't match across the books.

They offered to fix everything, and probably would have, but their work was good enough for now. I prefer saving money for the children's programs when possible. If I can fix something, I don't make people do the work for me.

Technology Challenges Led to Creative Growth

Being budget conscious, I tried to fix the author's name myself using four different software programs. Every single one deleted images in the Snuggle Bunny and Pumpkin Britches books! Those deletions forced me to revisit the words, and as I recreated the two-page spreads from memory, more pictures and expanded details emerged.

I'm not sure if I originally wrote it correctly or if my memory filled in gaps, but the universe clearly wanted me to go back and improve everything. We sent the enhanced version to our setter, who quickly updated the ebooks for free. I didn't ask them to do that, but I gave them a tip and I explained the pages need reset. Its a different book essentially, and I asked them their price to set it.

I know more work remains. When someone does work, they deserve fair payment for it. I meant for a complete professional reset as I put in the vision, reset the words, and its close but it needs a professional touch of a page setter. I know a double expense. But the process had to happen. Paying to get it done right is what matters most and I will not short change them as it is a DIFFERENT book even if it is some what the same.

The Rule of Three: Children First

These price increases follow my Rule of Three over minimum standard. The third children's book is coming soon, and then we'll add a proper publishing line to our front page. Three books, and who should be served first if not children?

My Philosophy: Little Stomachs Cannot Wait

In some households, the spouse is served first to honor the head of household. In my house, I serve the little children first. Little stomachs cannot wait as long.

A spouse can serve themselves if they're in a hurry - they're adults and capable parents. I take care of them too, along with older kids and guests. But I serve them next to last.

Who gets served last? Me. Because I believe in serving those I love first.

What's Brewing

A new story is brewing for the kids while I simultaneously edit the Violet Eyes Saga for adults. Fifteen-plus edits, folks - fifteen-plus! Remember, it's the Rule of Three, so if I somehow hit 16 or 17 edits, it must mean another round is needed.

To me, it's not enough for a story to be good.

It has to hit the heart.

It has to meet a need.

And, it must show the Three L's along with the Three F's.
