Kindness
Starts from Caring
To be kind to one another has a simple formula to me. You care about someone else's predicament, listen, and share.
But it helps to have received it in order to give it. So I opt to be the first to share it.
Sometimes the person with the prickly outside, they are hurting as they haven't received enough kindness during their life.
Sometimes, the person needs sweetness, but that doesn't give anyone the right to hurt others from their pain. Know kindness is a gift, and when you give it the other person should give the same.
If you are kind to someone, and they strike your cheek that isn't someone you need to keep in your life. Yes, when you cross paths, keep to kindness if you can. But its okay to defend yourself, kindness doesn't mean you are weak.
Loving is Easy
Loving you is easy, as you are my child.
Loving you is hard because sometimes you break my heart and when you are hurting, I hurt even more than had I been the one experiencing it.
If I could take all of your hurts away, I would do it in a snap. But learning means sometimes pain.
You do not know what hot means until you feel it first. The word makes no sense and so when I tell you don't touch its hot, you touched it anyway and got a burn.
Your pain hurt me, but at least now you know what hot means. Maybe next time you'll trust me, but I understood you didn't understand even what I was saying.
But mostly loving you is the easiest thing in my entire live, as darling from the moment I became your mother you meant everything to me.
Loving you is easy even when it's hard on me.
Money, money, money
All the world needs a little bit of it. We exchange it. But long before money existed, we exchanged directly goods and services for goods and services. This was called bartering and its still practiced today, but money makes it a wider exchange between people.
Money comes in paper, and it comes in coins, but did you know that money in 1200 BC was shells. Live on the beach and the money was all around. Seashell, seashell come to my bucket. Seashell, seashell a few to exchange for bread for my stomach.

Every single nation, and we have interesting people. People with different backgrounds, and different ways of speaking. Words are so wonderful, and we each have a different way of expressing ourselves. Even English-speaking nations might say the same thing in a different way.

Opera of Old
Some think Opera is Old but seriously it is still around. The beautiful ariels of Soprano. The play between voice and style. So many operas played in the grand theaters. But do not think, it has gone away. Its just a little rarer these days.
Playing Piano Pianissimo
What a big old word. Pianissimo to play softly. A delicate tune a delicate mystery. But a beautiful sound to invoke. Classical and Bluesy you never really know, but you don't find pianissimo too often in Rock-n-roll.
Question my Quest
I seek to make a smile everywhere I go. This is my Quest just so you know. It might not be a knight's desire to quest as I do. They might even question the nobleness of my pursuit.
But honestly, my quest is nobly designed. A smile growing upward is a frown left behind.
Racing Rabbits Running
So many rabbits. Rabbits everywhere. Little Rabbits. Big Rabbits running like they just don't care.
I thought I saw a rabbit under my feet. I did, I did. There are many rabbits running around and chasing each other. Did someone steal something from someone's bush?
Nah they are running because they are happy. I put out a plate of carrots, and they found them perfectly snappy.
Stars and Stripes
America and many nations adopt stars and stripes. Such importance is the star, so important are the stripes. Every nation is looking toward the future, and we see that future from the brightness of the stars.
The stripes are the pain as no nation came without it. Peace is always bought through sacrifice first. So, as we look to the stars for a bright future, we need to remember the stripes of the soldiers who brought it and those who are working still to this day to keep it.
Peace is beautiful, but before it came there was those that paved its way. It doesn't matter the nation. Each tells a story and all have a great meaning.
Yet no matter its amazing shape, citizens honor them all the same. Its a point of great pride, and that is nothing to hide.
We all celebrate many things and that is great. Diversity isn't a problem at all. Without different spice, food wouldn't even taste that great.
Teatime among Trees
Ah tea, such an interesting thing. Came from the orient but now in so many types. It comes in green, black, cherry, strawberry, peach, raspberry, and the list is not this limited and grows all the time.
Some have it with lemon, others with milk, and then there is sugar. Iced or hot or even room temperature. So many ways to enjoy a cup of tea.
Personally, I love some tea among the trees even if it isn't Teatime. I go with black, orange pekoe or strawberry, a touch of cream, sugar, and a very light seep.
My husband always asks me Honey are you having a tea or sugar and a dip of tea. I really shouldn't drink it the way I make it, but hey tea is something you make in the way it pleases you. And he drinks it unsweetened. Both of us cannot exchange cups. But that is the joy of tea, we make a pot and then make our personal cups.
Up Under Umbrellas
Umbrellas so handy when the rain is coming down. It can be a romantic moment, and a great moment of sharing.
Under the umbrella together, we both get a little wet, but both our heads stay dry. Sometimes giving does mean losing a bit.
But that shouldn't be the reason to stop sharing. We can care for each other under the umbrella, and as we are under the umbrella together, I think the universe is smiling.
Voices of Soul
Voices sound in so many ways. Sometimes, they are rough and stern telling us to mind. Often, when its gruff it's because someone is scared.
Scared of someone they care about getting hurt, causing trouble, making costly mistakes.
Sometimes, sadly a rough voice can be from a fear I do not like. Hatred and violence and things harmful can happen to. Prejudice still exists and I have yet to see that prejudice is not based in fear. Sometimes we should speak out. There are many dark things. This doesn't mean that fear is wrong, but sometimes its misguided.
We can use our voices sweetly and kindly, we do not have to go from fear of someone different. But voices, voices speak many ways. When I speak though, I choose to speak from my soul.
I choose to celebrate diversity. I choose to celebrate love. I choose to give kindness. And to me these three combine and make the stars shine above.
However, you are speaking, speak from the soul, and hopefully choose as I do speak in kindness, wisdom, and love.
Water Wonderful Water
Water is so precious and sometimes hard to come by. People in a dessert cherish every drop. But sometimes it can be too much and very scary.
Thunder and lightning can be exceptionally frightening. And this fear is not groundless. Floods are dangerous and can bring great destruction. Living next to beautiful water brings its dangers.
But that is a rare storm. The water normally is in the right balance. You might want to hide away and find yourself somewhere safer when things got crazy, and I do understand.
But honestly, every area has it quirks and dangers. There is no escaping every possible danger. Life demands taking chances, and there is nowhere perfectly safe. Each place has its beauties and disasters. We just have to be brave and face them.
Worry not dear children of what your area has in store. Every area is beautiful and has its goodness in a balance measure.
But let's be mindful of water and treat it with respect. Without water there would not be life. We are even made 45 to 75 % and if your made up of that much of something, I find that it's a good idea to mind it.
Examine,
Explore, Explain
Every time I wake up, I have come from a dream or nightmare.
Despite it being dark or because it was light, a new possibility is before me. I have explored an entire universe yet again more times than not. I have even dreamt of dying and I can say quite plainly no matter what happens in your dreams we survive the trials. Yes, a new universe needing help, that is my average night of sleep.
Writing a book for me is easy, the editing takes forever. I decided to make Color Me Timbers, Snuggle Bunny and Pumpkin Britches, Tongue Twisters from one night of sleeping. However, I must grant that this entire thing is 20 plus years in the making. And people will ask, why wait so long.
Pumpkin Britches and Snuggle Bunny are based on my two daughters and their adventures.
Both books back then so long ago nearly made it to publishing but the publishers passed saying they had something similar. And I waited to find these similar books. Searched high and low, and though there might be something I missed I am sure I didn't step into others dreams. And I cannot say for certain, I haven't shared the same one with someone, but I dreamed of them all again and decided the universe wanted me to give the gift.
Explore your dreams, examine what is behind the scenes is my advice, but don't overanalyze either. Dreams can be I hear just a place of fun. Mine are always an adventure. I'm not sure I'd always say they were fun.
Almost every time I know that my dreams are telling me more than just what was on the surface. There is something that my unconscious is telling me, and so I look at it.
I examine my dreams like a scientist would, and in the end, I find a new possibility to help another understand, grow, and fly.
Scientists examine the possibilities of their experiments. They wonder how combining too elements would work.
But remember whatever you do with your dreams, I recommend sharing from love, because love is the best gift we can leave behind.
Yes, Yo-yo
A humble little toy, but it's so amazing. A Yo-Yo can do amazing tricks, but I admit being no good at it. It doesn't matter I give them a whirl regularly, but that is okay. No one is good at everything.
My father had some serious skills, and I loved watching him go at it, but alas I didn't inherit his yo-yo mastery. But that is okay, I can still have fun even when I wind up covered in the yo-yo string.
I'll never get better if I don't occasionally give it a try. Yo-yo's are beautiful even if well mine end up wrapped around me somehow!
Try dear children to master things you find fun. It doesn't mean you have to be a master at it. To me I mastered the yo-yo that try if I got it to go down and up! Hey yeah, today I am not covered in strings, but that doesn't mean I mastered it or got better in truth, I think I just got lucky. But, I'll take it as a minor victory and will not worry about ... well the setbacks.
The setbacks just mean I need to give the learning another try and do you know how many failures it took to make a light bulb?
2,774 attempts! He didn't give up, and I appreciate it. It's really hard to write at midnight by candlelight. I know as I've done that when well the lightbulb and the electric company ended up breaking up!!! Ha ha.
As if the lightbulb and electric company were a couple, but one doesn't work without the other. You should see the handwriting its nowhere near as good as my lovely laptop putting down the typing. Laptops, a thing that never would have happened without his first step. Really Thank You Edison for always trying and making the 2,774th attempt.
Zero, Zero, Zero
Zero is a wonderful thing. Zero is a terrible thing. Zero is a brave thing. Zero is a scary thing.
Zero is wonderful. It can mean you have no debts, no markers of disease, no chance of failure.
Zero is a terrible thing. You can have nothing that you need. To be at zero when you need to eat is a terrible thing.
Zero can be a brave thing. Trying when you have nothing in you. Giving when your ready to break. Striving on to accomplish the next step when you have gotten to your last stretch, is not only brave, but strong. But note sometimes the body is right and its fine to take a break.
Zero is a scary thing. It might be there is no chances left. There is no going back.
But life would be awful if zero did not exist.
