Alpha Beta Sam
Alpha Beta Sam doesn’t know who I am,
Doesn’t know who he is, but knows the way
For him. Start the day following the
Stone path following Alpha to Zed then return
Zed to Alpha, but no number will he drop
Unless it is in the right spot of Alpha to Zed,
For Letters are the way.
He goes from Apple Orchard to Zebra field.
He is a letter bug,
Dropping letters off his robe.
Don’t you mean litterbug.
No I mean letter bug, the letters
Fall off but on his way back
He picks them up.
I guess on the way forward that makes him
A lettering litterbug,
but since he does pick them up
I call him a letterbug.
Alpha Beta Sam lead the way.

Bright Light Becky
Bright Becky Britten brightens bulbs
As she briefly passes them. She moves
Briskly between her bungalow,
Across the Bridge, and to her business
And she brightens bleak blackness
Just for being her bright self.
She ignites
In blue, burgundy, and yellow
to name but a few beautiful colors
she brightens.
She seeks out bleakness
and in blinding flames
Brightens the night.
But they say people
Still see nothing
And instead grope blindly.
Even if wherever she goes
She brightly lights
the way our dear Bright Becky Britten.

Chocolate Cherry Chestnut
Chocolate Cherry Chestnut, the ever
Exploring Chipmunk,
Chooses her chestnuts for their crunch,
Cherries for their cheerfulness,
Chocolate for its choice succulence
for her winter hoarding of deliciousness.
Winter comes and she hides in
A chunky cherry tree
As old as three centuries
And as she eats her slender finger
Chips away most every day.
She cannot resist
The chocolate and cherries
even if her chestnut gives
her no belly worries.
She wonders why choosing chocolate
and cherries leads to calorie counting
every spring for surely choosing cherries,
chestnuts, and chocolates
Is the choice thing
for she is Chocolate Cherry Chestnut,
the ever exploring chipmunk.

Darling Darla Dances
With Daring Darren
Darling Darla and Daring Darren
Dream of dancing every day. So,
They dance, prance, and
Promenade together, dancing daintily
Through Darla’s dear dreams and
Daringly through Darren’s dark
Terrors always near dreaming dark and
Drifting places. Dancing in a circle
Dancing as they dare from dark to dawn
And as dew settles their faces become
Withdrawn as they pass as strangers
Dreaming in the moment for
Daring sets of tongues to ask
The other for a date but they
Pass each other and say nothing
And look forward to the night
In the daring dreams where they touch
Sweetly each others faces.
The Eraser Empress
She is elegant in her office, Elizabeth Ellers Alabaster works her eraser On editorials she finds audacious Which is nearly everything Her writers produce as they just can’t
Produce to her mind editorials worth Reading. Her ego is enormous just As her editorial credentials earning her
A stark look from other editors Who have meet her eraser. She Has memorized the encyclopedia And it applies it to her editorial Edifications earning her the right To give writers nightmares.
Elizabeth Ellers Alabaster
Her is this bit on you?
Should I erase you as you seem to erase everything I do.
There it comes the eraser.....
Now where did Elizabeth go?

Fiddling Frank Fats
Frank Ford Fats is not at all fat.
He is fit as a fiddle and keeps his body
In fiddle-shaped with football
Keeping his body as he likes In fidledee-dee-dee perfection and then
He returns to his flat for time
With his little fuzz ball Fluffy
His fiddle loving cat who
For certain is fascinatingly fat
He plays a fiddle on a fine date,
Starting off perfect but then somehow
He starts to play a frightening frantic Line.
Frankly, frank you'e lost your Fine date.
For some reason,
Yyou went from
Fantastic to flunky.
But there he is sitting blissfully aware
His performance has sent everyone Frantically running their hands flat on their ears
From all the freaky fiddling
they moved as always in frigid terror.
But go ahead Frank fiddle.
Even faster and see
If you can break glass for frankly
This date is a frightening disaster.
I wonder how fluffy manages it
She manaages because her ears
Are filled with fur balls.
Kids you see a purple bit, get a joke, and get a hint for future books not found in books.
Did you notice the extra Y in there
The lowercase f
... Did I mean to soften or extend the letters?
Or was that a typo Elizabeth Ellers Alabaster would have caught if I hadn't just erased her.... darn I also said her and not here.... I best bring her back.
Oh dearie dear.
She is going to be so smug; someone I need a hug.

Grimy Gentleman Grims
Mister Gregory Grims is grimy and great,
For he works underground digging up muck
And grime for grubs for his tum.
He eats them straight from ground despite
Them being grimy. Gregory grapples over
Stone and hill for such gifts of the ground.
His grit is well in hand.
He however is as rich as can be found
For he works in gold mining.
Yet where does he spend his gold dust,
He sure doesn’t seem like a gentleman yet.
Well that might be the next story of
The Great gentleman Mister Gregory Grims.

Holder verses Molder
It started at the altar.
Harry Holder married Henrietta
Colder who on marriage was given
The option of changing her name.
Harry now hates Henrietta for
The violation of the sacred H.
She changed her name
But from Colder to Molder
She felt it was bolder than Colder
Or Holder. Harry finds her
Thoughts cold she finds his thoughts
Bold to demand she change to suit his
Name when she is
A Molder to her core.
Harry tries to hug and hold her
And get her to change.
She gave him her back and said the
Same. The feud has started and
Where will it go?
Mountain Ice Lover
Ingle Ice licks ice from snowy tops
Of mountain tops even if they make
Her icy as she licks on ice and icicles.
Though ice cream, she will scream its too
Cold. I do not understand Ingle Ice who
Licks ice on snowy
Mountain tops but screams
For ice cream’s icy coldness. But soft and
Icy does she love her vanilla ice cream
Flavored icies
with a icy splash of cheery freeze.
Oh look at her go eating that in the
Mountain snow. But don’t give her
Ice cream as she’ll scream and cause
An avalanche you know.

Jingle Jelly Jam
Jingle Jelly Sam goes jamming at the
JingleJelly Jam Slam. Jingle your jelly,
Roll your jam. Swiggle that jelly to
The right. Slam that Jelly to the left.
Swing it to the right. Slam it to the left.
Slam it right Sling it left.
Swinging fling jelly and jam
Jiggling out of sight.
Jelly will be flying to the left to the right.
Jelly Jingling Jam slamming its
Disco tonight.

Kind Caring Karen
Karen is so kind.
Karen is so caring.
Karen has kids around her
No matter where she goes
They crowd her so much
She is a lady in a shoe.
But she knows what to do
You just love and care
For children
That is what you do.

Lover of Lollipops
Lover of lollipops come to Licopics at
The corner of Lover’s Lomaine and Licorice
Lane where Larry Lickman will be enjoying
A lollipop of lime or licorice. Yes licorice
Black licorice so yuck, but he finds that one
Is the best this side of the west.
I personally want one that has a sweet taste.
What about strawberry licorice. Well that
One be okay. But I bet that twist
Would twist Larry’s nose left
For lime and black licorice are the lollies
He licks.

Meticulous Melody Minder
Melody Minder is meticulous and a
Miracle at masterpieces but she
Is forever mentioning mistakes, despite
No one having found a flaw in the bust
Of her mother Melody Binder who
Divorced mister Minder for never minding
His business. She marked the statue
Of herself a meticulous masterpiece,
But she bust it Melody Minder
For her mom got in her business.

Nicking Neighbor Names
Norman Nolan and Norma Molan cannot stop
Moaning and narking. They moan and cackle that
Their neighbors stole from them a scared thing.
Nolan Morma and Molan Norman shout
At the fence all week the same.
What did they each steal well maybe a set of baby names?
Normon and Morma named their kids Nolan and Norman.
Nolan and Molan named their kids Mora and Molan.
The feud in truth started ages ago. But for certain,
This they both do know. Their neighbors are as thick as
Theives stealing names for the last four centuries.
There are so many Molans Normas Normans and Nolans
But strangely very few Moras. What is wrong with Mora?
Well that belonged to someone’s great grandma.

Ostridge Outpost Post
Opera Ophelia opens order and outlines them in outstanding
Ocular arrangements making them eye-opening masterpieces
Of organized efficiency and outstanding collages of ordinary
Things. But how do citizens get their packages if
Opera Ophelia is forever organizing them in outstanding
Ocular arrangements. No one at all at Ostridge Outpost Post because she is the postmistress who organizes the most
And never delivers orders at all.

Peter Pokle’s Protest
Peter Piper doesn’t pickle pickes
Nor does he pick them.
He changed his name to Peter Pokle for he hates
Pickles for having had to pick them and pickle them
For all his formative years and the sound that
Pecked at his ears and total requests for pickles
And how many he pecked. But despite the change
He keeps hearing proclaims that he pecked and
Pickled pickles and how many pecked would be
Proclaimed next. Well never and nary not a one, I
Am Peter Pokle
And I never pickle pickles and therefore
No pickles do I ever picked. His wife says but dear
Peter loves pickles can’t you pick them
And pickle them.
No my dear I am done pickling pickles
go to the store
And buy Peter some
because we are never pickling pickles
Ever again.

Queue the Queen
Queue the Queen, queue the king.
Queue the joker and the knave.
We have a royal court queued
And primed and on royal display.
Regal is the queenly head,
Wise and cool she keeps her court.
But watch the knave joker he is at your
Back as there are some jokes you
Should not have made. Her comes
A queenly dagger delivered promptly
By her knave.

Rabbits Raspberry Racing
Rabbits rapidly race around the raspberry patch.
Rabbits rejoice around the strawberry patch.
Randomly dancing around the mulberry bush,
The rabbits dash on past a bramble and prickly
Vine. Ow that last race hurt.
Why did you dash past the prickly bush?
Why wouldn’t we dash when there was a wolf?

Standing among Stars
Staring at the same place, we drifted up
Into the outer reach, jetting ourselves
Through the stellar landscape and
Found ourselves dreaming of
Another landscape. And then before
Us did appear something I describe
But the wonder is beyond words.
A gas cloud in the sky,
Solid when your feet touch down.
As you walk flowers bloom pink and white
Mix in forget-me-nots
Living on a gassy bank.
In three steps we found ourselves
Swept into a vortex to sail the multiverse.
And this step was so large but
Who could we tell when all of us
In that step was gone far from where
We belong, but such an adventure I would
Take again and again but now I am gone
Until we find the path to home, dear
Memories, and old friends.

Tea and Tintups
Mister Teaman Tintups collects tin
And teacups.
He collects them and makes
Clothes and furniture from them.
And every morning, noon, and teatime,
He calls his butler Mister Tinman
Teatups who loves his employer for
As he brings him tea he does ask him
To join for a sip.
He has never been overworked as
They both have priorities. Tea
Must be drank in a new cup, each
Cup should be collected, and someday
They will have a monument to tea
For the fine collection of tea cups
And tin plates.

Uncle Unther Ulyses
My dear uncle Unther Ulysses has
An umbrella boat
And he sits at umbrella lake
And eats eucalyptus leaves. Though he will
Tell you all to stand tall, for his boat
Likes to sink, but it only sinks as high
As the sign reads, so stand up and don’t go
Below as the water only reaches
The tips of our captain’s teeth.
Oh how many can fit in an umbrella boat?
Not many for certain and that’s a good thing,
But for certain the experience is unique.
Eating toxic plants, while sitting in a sinking
Vessel, with an umbrella to shelter you.
Why he has an umbrella is quite intriguing?
Why worry about raindrops when sinking?
His principal concern is sun might damage
His wonderful vessel. But he also
Feels it will protect from skin cancer.
Now where is the below in an umbrella
Boat. Well ask Unther and he will explain
Below is the lagoon and you shouldn’t
Go below the deck as then you’ll get wet.
Uh …. the boat is sinking.
Stop complaining it only reaches our teeth
And I have plenty of eucalypis leaves for
The entire trip.
Ah yes once more with the offer of toxic plants.
No thanks dearest uncle I think I’ll pass.
Tomorrow we’ll go sailing….
Vendetta of Vines
Vine, vine, everywhere vines.
Some jungles have temples hidden underneath.
But there have been nothing but vines all week.
Hanging, grappling, swinging, and snagging
Vines, vines everywhere. Above, bellow, ahead
Me and vines are in a vendetta. I will
Discover what they are hiding? Said my boss
The explorer.

I think they are hiding more vines.
I did
Warn him it was nothing but vines, green and
Purple with the occasional touch of red. But vines
Forever and ever.
I know as I already faced
This vendetta of vines so many times.
And though you tell explorers
this as guide
Somehow they all ask
To go through this patch.
But I bet tonight
He’ll whine. It’s just vines, a vendetta of vines.
I’ll nod and say you are right
Lets go back. You’d
Think it be easier but no its a vendetta of vines.

Whittle Wickle Wackle
Wack up Whittle, it’s time for you
To wonder. My little Wickle your
Mother’s calling you to work.
Little Mister Wackle you should
Work a week you’ve been sleeping
So long but look at you dreaming.
Whittle popped open one eye.
Wickle winked. Wackle blinked.
And then he fell as always
Right back to sleep. Never has he
Worked a week except in the best place
His wonderful dreams.
Now kids go up as I wanted you to take a second look at wackle his mom told him to Wack Up....
Did you read it right or did you see
Wake Up...
I really meant it as wack.
He didn't hear her properly and never does.
And that is sometimes a sneaky twister trick, but Elizabeth would have an issue with Wack and not wick. She with her pencil is like wielding a heavy stick.

My Xavier Xavier
Oh how I love my Xavier Xavier.
My heart explodes for he is brave.
My mind expands for he is smart.
Xavier Xavier, my beloved Xavier,
Why don’t you ever start.
I examine the scene, extract the details,
And decide our means to escape.
Sometimes the best path, in the beginning
Is the worst one in the end.
Study and explore the routes, know
The dangers up ahead. I search
For the beginning evading all dangers
Long before they arrive. I do it to
Save my damsel.
But I am not in distress.
And never will you be, for I evade our
Troubles before attempting our flight.
You are my beloved who I’ll
Love all my life.

Zipping Zonter Zims
Zonter Zims goes to zoos and examine
Zebras and tigers, zips to monkeys and
Elephants, and then ends his day examining
Ants. Don’t tell his favorite Uncle Alpha
Beta Sam as its against A to Zed first.

Zonoter Zimps would never forgive the rift. The zoo
would also never be the same with our zipping
Zonter Zimps Zims going from ant to zebra.
(Did you catch his name was said first and
Last and then first and middle and then in
Full. Be careful sometimes he likes saying
It in reverse.)

Young Yolunda Yesterday
Young yet insightful, Yolunda yearned
To learn of yesterday from yesterday, so she
Peered into yesterday the day before yesterday
And discovered she lived another yesterday
And felt great peace certain she will forever live.
But dear Yolunda you would be better off
Looking at Tomorrow’s Tomorrow to determine
If you are going to live. As that would be
Seeing the future, instead of the past that
You already lived. But go ahead and look
Forever at a yesterday and you will find
Maybe insight into how your past self lived
Not that I understand needing to examine
Just a few days ago. Is your memory that bad?
Time For A Journey Into a Numbered Journey

One and Only
One and Only One is lonely, solid, and opinionated.
One is open minded, silly, and elated.
Confusion in the solitude, of how I am not
So lonely yet alone I am.
The arithmetic of isolation,
The mathematics of struggle,
A beginning of the accounting and tallies
For one is the start and zero is nothing.

Two Twisting Souls
Two tangos and tangles and it twists and dips.
We become twine, two floating petals collide.
We touch and we part. Then we come back
Turning and twisting into a romantic moment
That is ever growing yet.
The petals are flowing, the roses dangle in the air.
Two hearts once so lonely beat in time
Creating something lovely.

Three Soul War
Three we stand united,
Then love blooms and we divided,
The cards did stack and they did fall,
Up in the air a free for all
Pull the heart in between.
But the heart soared higher
And flames lit desire.
Inspiration rang supreme.
And the shield holding fast
Broke in thrice and love
Burned its brightest.
For sometimes love needs tested.
Not from bad things but between
Two Great Loves
Loving a most beautiful soul.

To Stand For
Four score and then no more, but
Fours scars are forevermore.
Nation once stood together
Allowing a chain to lengthen
Divided on debate
Over the chains correctness.
Blood was shed from a painful lot.
Death tolls mounted on both sides.
Four score shackles tying men to men
And brother to brother
Separating Children from their mother,
Husband and wife, not to mention lovers.

A rattle that kept clinking in the night
As soldiers once brothers
In blooded clothes fought.
Four score and there were dark clouds.
But finally Four Bought some redemption
Chains and chinks fell to the feet.
Walking tall and free but the marble stands
Dotted the lands and Widows wept.
Yet that was the price of crimes untold.
Though some nations have this illumination
Still in the reaches is there still clinks.
So to our battalions do our forces still rise
For this is something we all must realize
Freedom must be bought in blood.
And the cost might never be fully paid.

Five, oh five
Five, oh five how we come alive.
Grace, peace, and wise advice
How we open up to colorful delights.
As we stack and build our towers,
Our minds expand of future possibilities.
We are pure hope ignited in our cheer.
And with our small fingers we do create,
For our imagination will not be held down
And now our words begin to resound clearer.
Even if we might get messy, we can delight.
We do not need to stop our joy.
For five, we’re five and alive.

Six My Stars
Six we six. Not seven eating eight.
But six for stars zipping into outer space
Meet my friend Castor,
See the Dolphin and Flying Fish,
Grab the telescope and see its unique reflection.
And there flocking above, Tucana a majestic bird.
And let’s not forget the charioteer, Auriga
As he rides the sky and says hello to the comet
That zips behind. Oh what a beautiful sky
For a father to share with his children.
Wonder and knowledge hand in hand.
Beautiful moments with our twinkling friends.
And Now We Come to A Heaven, Seven Rises and Seven Falls (part of the title)
Question Children ... is this where the card free for all happen in it or did it already come before? Humm....m I wonder what you think?

Seven Eight Nine
Seven started the journey,
Taking souls as always to heaven.
For Seven has a sacred duty.
It ate eight and nine for strength
But as they journeyed,
Some fell off the path
The wings become crocked
And they descended
But he never stopped to pick up deserters.
Seven oh Seven Messenger of Heaven
What awaits you past heaven’s gates.
He could almost always tell the ones
To fall those with wings wrongly placed
Some were in limbo and others would
Come to what life gained them.
Seven oh Seven when my time comes
Guide me to Heaven.

Ten sees again
Now before the heavens gate
The souls start to look at the long
Wait as souls ask hard questions
Seven looks at a child and shoves them
Back to the line. A child’s soul
Of course Seven minds.
Suffer them not, let them in quick,
And then he goes and he sits.
Contemplating his full stomach
Eight was a complete course,
But nine added the sweetness.

Work done, Seven found his Friend Eleven
And they played for a bit in the casino
Souls trying to bribe their way in landed here
Although some were just addicts but either way
The vice would bring them quickly to a loss.
But Seven and Eleven are lucky for them for a bit.
Seven come eleven and Eleven come seven.

Seven got called to the 12th Door
Beyond that lay the judges
A solemn place of decision.
But Seven as always trips.
The hour struck 13 and
To earth he returned.
Seven, Seven Messenger of Heaven
How many times
Have you stumbled?
At this door, so many times I’ve
Stopped Counting but who cares
I lead souls to the door but
Cannot enter it until there are
None left needing the Son.
And then the book came with 4 mostly blank pages
Printed Books divide by 4, and I had planned for that
But the previewer did not reveal something I did not know
The Printer requires a page for their address and barcode.
I honestly thought those were done on the inside of the front cover
But if I am getting a printed book I don't want blank pages
And I despise it when I see a book with added filler
In Snuggle Bunny, I extended the magic as the Friendship Poem looked Cramp and I already wanted more pages so that was a quick fix.
But don't we sort of feel to get more magic we needed more pages...
And so instead I said why make a three pager when instead...we could make a bonus book for those getting printed and that was what I did.
