What are we working on at Wattpad Live. A book destined to be a three option take on the same bit of prose. So far I wrote the prose, but as one will tell it needs edits. But it needs a special type of doulbe editing before the final rendition of it that combine Manga and Prose into one combined volume with TNT brought to the final version. Yep, that Twine and Thread Technique I've created.
The prose version still needs editing, and this is its first pass as I wrote the original arc and full manuscript in August from a dream while fevered.
Ha ha ha, yes arcs galore every night, but this one I know is a golden one.
This edit will not be the last and I need an artist to draw what they see from my illustration prompts that give guidance. Art is tougher in many ways and giving the artist more control instead of holding everything tight makes it far easier.
My words inspire their art; their art inspires my words. And the story becomes more magical for the collorboration of the two. And then with the art and the other, I'll bring it all together. Publishing three variants of the same story.
Each one gaining a new prespective of the same moment. Healing demands the right treatment for the patient and each one of these might be best for different needs of the person who needs it.
Remember Wattpad is not my final product its a stage I edit and develop live to work through the craft and letting readers enjoy the production.
We are 4 books in a row all categories top 1% (with just one being a squeaker at 1.01% ha rounding its true for this one) but we will see if fatedmates ranked #29 drops when our average percent across all categories is .33 ranking from .12 to .68 with the rather annomally of 1.01% means its not likely par for the course.
3 categories were in the top 10, with one that was #2.
3 additional categories were ranked in the top 20
2 in top 30 and the rest
are huge categories where percent matters even more than being in the top section.
The last three books all hit number one in something but averaged under .5 percent.
4 hits in a row .... 4 hits in a row. Every single one was a different story, a different age group, and thus that says a lot more.
The three L's matter to all ages. Give Love, Learn From Love, and Live Well on Love.
9/4 Tracker Update
Fated Mates is now dropped to smaller digits and it's solidly under the line of 1%. But we have a new outlier that for the last few days has been slowly going up. It's a small set of books available 820 and small categories like that are very volatile and it's continually improving. But the mean is .31%. In statistics, outliers are pitched out. In case anyone is wondering. Top 1% just not all categories at this second due to an outlier who'd kill the overall average.
But... I went and had fun with all the ranks and total books across them all rather than averaging the individual percentiles.... I did that too, but hey.
We are ranked 2,671 across 1.1 million works. 24% average... now isn't that a giggler?
But truly that one has improved since it showed up 625 > 584 > 524, which is an anomaly that is improving. [6/5 521 another drop but not much and that is okay. 6/9 Rebirth is now at 35 but as few stories as the category currently has that is 4.2%)
We will mind it and see if it keeps improving, but we are no longer the brand new story but happy reading those still looking at it. Happy Reading.
