Now, I have a love of the French-style font. It’s my favorite one, because when I use it, I feel like I am writing to readers. It’s close to my handwriting style, and I have always found it easy to read.
But you know what, I found out from my Mom that it would be a little hard to read. I never thought it would be hard, but I understand how it might be. So, I’ll adjust the font while I figure out the creep issues and how to solve them.
Why change when you love something? It’s sort of like ordering dinner. Do you go just where you want to go, or do you accommodate everyone’s taste? Now, the more people you have, the more complicated it is to make adjustments to take care of everyone. But we can do our best. For instance, when I want to order Chinese food and my husband hates it, I don’t make him eat it.
Well, unless it’s my birthday, there are dishes he likes, but it’s just not something he ever desires. Anyway, I’ve made adjustments to my diet since I have plenty of options to choose from. My primary concerns are that I am not allergic to it, the spice level is low, and I am also not intolerant to the food as these things make me feel awful after eating. Food is for living, and a bonus comes when we love it.
Well, anyway, I pulled the softback books from Amazon because I didn’t realize they used Saddle Stitch and had set the books for perfect stitch. Would love to pay a distributor, but at 1500.00 quoted to do the book, it’s just not in my budget. The beauty of finding the solution myself is keeping the price low for kids in the long term.
But whether it is French or Garamond or something else, what matters most is the healing it offers. Small changes that will spread the healing are the most beautiful of choices.
