A twig is very sturdy and it's vital for a proper nest.

I found a button, and I'm getting married today.

Well a button of course makes perfect sense.

should wear a boutonniere.

And there he is in my tree with his button, his ribbon, his cap, and twig. A perfect nest for the creativity a magpie has inside. Because this is how they tell their love who much they adore them.
