My mother liked to eat toxic plants but I've abandoned that tradition.

Sometimes a tradition does need to stop; just because our parents did something doesn't mean we need to continue.

That is why I eat only the sweetest flowers.

Well I went and had a little roadkill cafe.

Possums eat some of the strangest things, picky or not, I can't quite say but picky possum to me you are fine. You eat and consume true but it is all the cycle of life.

Well there are things I do not eat because though it was fine for mom it just wasn't good for me. And that is perfectly fine,.

As I said before, just because our parents did something that doesn't mean it's right for us. Not everyone can eat from the list of their species even.

This is very true. Every possum is a different possum.
